With 37 years of industry experience, Stuart is responsible for Gleeds’ Energy and Infrastructure sectors globally and has been with the company for over 32 years.
Gleeds’ Energy was set up in 2005 and is the fastest growing area of the business. As Global Managing Director, Stuart’s team has been instrumental in being seen as an independent trusted advisor within our client’s organisations and regularly identifies areas of added value usually generating savings for our clients. This is the reason we feel the business has grown so quickly and is expanding globally with over 85% repeat business.
Stuart is one of a small number in the industry to gain his professional qualifications through the Heavy Engineering Test of Professional Competence for the RICS. He frequently represents Gleeds at seminars and conferences, delivering presentations on TAR methodology and practice; contract commercial advice and areas to save money.
Stuart has been responsible for the implementation of maintenance management systems developed originally within the process industry but now tailored for any sector of our industry to address operating and maintenance costs.
The sub sectors that fall within Energy are; Nuclear, Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, non Nuclear Power Generation, Process, Heavy Engineering manufacturing and Infrastructure are; Rail, Road, Ports and Aviation, this is for both Capex and Opex.
